Early Riser

My morning run was to Cedar Hill and back. I had darkness for company, cold for the soul and I pushed my legs through varying paces over the undulating terrain. I saw the sunrise and the fog lifted on my return leg.

I have been building up the mileage slowly progressing to a level of comfort that I can maintain for an hour. Most of my runs have been solo affairs sprinkled with some company for some of the lunch hour runs. I have yet to get the long runs to the hour thirty mark...tomorrow is the day...nice and easy. The first XC race is also around the corner and I have no expectations only hopes that I finish strong.
