reawakening?

I have been lost in the occasional brilliant summer days, drinking coffee, chasing the sun and leather balls. Vacationing from running and indulging in child's play.

My first official run on the road back to racing fitness was over "little" mount doug. The silence deafened by my racing heart and throbbing legs. I was out of commission this evening, a true signal that the long road back to fitness will not paved with gold...but the journey has commenced. I will be coming soon to a road, trail or track near you...cover your ears and stand to the side as this charging vacationing runner recaptures the hurt of running miles and miles.
